Project 2013

F ILTERING T ASKS

Discussion

As the size of your project increases, you may find it useful at times to display only a subset of your tasks. Filters provide the means for displaying or selecting only the information you need at a particular time. For example, you could use a filter to display only milestone tasks or tasks with estimated durations.

Microsoft Project provides a variety of filter options to help you access only the pertinent information you want. After filtering for the desired information, you can display all the tasks again by clearing the filter.
