Lesson 4 – Working with Resources
4. Select the corresponding field in the Max. Units column. 5. Enter the maximum units that the resource is available. 6. Continue to enter the desired information for the work resource. 7. Press [Enter] .
Step-by-Step
From the Student Data directory, open HOUSE6.MPP . Create a work resource.
Select the View tab and the Resource Sheet command to switch to the Resource Sheet view.

1. Select the first empty field in the Resource Name column. The field is selected. 2. Enter the name of the work resource. The desired resource name appears in the Resource Name field and in the entry bar. 3. Select the corresponding field in the Max. Units column. The Max. Units field for the resource is selected and default information, including the text Work in the Type field, appears in most of the remaining fields. 4. Enter the maximum units that the resource is available. The appropriate value appears in the Max. Units field.
Click the first empty field in the Resource Name column.
Type Backhoe Operator.
Click the field for the Backhoe Operator resource in the column.
Click
to 200%.
Click in the Group field and type Union . Select the Initials field and enter BO for the resource.
5. Continue to enter the desired
information for the work resource. The desired information appears in the appropriate fields for the work resource.
