Lesson 2 – Adjusting Resources
Procedures
1. Select the Resource tab.
2. Select the
button in the Level group.
3. Select the Automatic option under Leveling Calculations .
4. Change any other leveling options as desired.
5. Click

6. Select the Entire pool or Selected resources option, if applicable.
7. Click
, if applicable.
Step-by-Step
Change leveling to automatic.
Switch to the Resource Sheet view. Select the 1 Laborer resource, which appears in red, indicating that it is overallocated.

The Resource ribbon appears.
2. Select the Leveling Options button. The Leveling Options dialog box opens. Click
3. Select the desired option under Leveling Calculations . The desired option is selected. 4. Change any other leveling options as desired. The desired leveling options are changed.
Click
Automatic.
Click Level entire project under Leveling range for ‘ file name’.
5. Select OK .
Click
The Resource Leveling dialog box closes, the automatic leveling feature is enabled, and the Level Now dialog box opens.
