Task

Work with graphics and web pages.

1. Open Rooms18 . 2. Insert Painter.bmp from the student data folder into the chart area of the Gantt Chart view. Move the image next to the 6 Paint Board Room Gantt bars. 3. Switch to the Resource Sheet view and open the Resource Information dialog box for the 2 Manager resource. 4. Insert the manager’s picture, Manager.bmp , from the student data folder into the Notes page. 5. Create a hyperlink from the 6 Board Room Furniture task to the windows.docx file in the student data folder. Create a ScreenTip with the text windows for board room . 6. Try the hyperlink (select Yes if a Microsoft Project information box opens) and then close the file and application and return to the Rooms19 project. 7. Create a hyperlink for 8 Paint Trim task to the 3 Painter resource using the Resource Usage view. ( Hint: Remember that the painter’s resource ID is 3. ) Try the hyperlink. 8. Return to the Resource Sheet view. 9. Create a custom field to display graphical indicators for data in the Group field in the resource sheet. Since this is a text field, the field type is Text . Rename the custom field Resource Group . Assign the Group field as the content for the new custom field. ( Hint: Use the Formula for dialog box. The Group field is under the Text field type. ) 10. Add the following graphical indicators to the custom Resource Group field.
