Lesson 2 – Using More Customization Features
NOTE You can add a flag column ( Flag1 - Flag20 ) to a view if you want to enter Yes/No data for a task or resource. For example, if you want to review cost information for certain tasks, you could add a flag column, name it Review Cost , and then set the value of Yes for the appropriate tasks. You can scroll a Field Name list more quickly by typing the first letter in the desired field name.
Procedures
1. Switch to the desired view.
2. Select the heading of the column to the left of which you want to insert the new
column.
3. Press [Insert] .
4. Select the desired Field name .
Step-by-Step
Add a table column.
If necessary, switch to the Gantt Chart view and drag the split bar as far right as possible.
Apply the Cost table to the view.

Practice Data
1. Select the heading of the column to the left of which you want to insert the new column. The entire column is selected.
Right-click the Total Cost column heading.
Press [Insert Column].
2. Press [Insert] .
A new column is inserted into the view.
