D OCKING O NE N OTE The Dock to Desktop tool allows you to quickly resize OneNote and another active application so you can view or work with both at the same time. It is easy to return OneNote to full screen view after you have finish with the other application.

Use the following procedure to dock OneNote to the desktop.

1. Open the other application you want to use. 2. Click the Dock to Desktop tool in the Quick Access toolbar.

The active application and OneNote are minimized to take up part of the screen. OneNote resizes to take a small part on the right of the screen. In the following example, Word 2016 is the other application.

Select Full Page View to return OneNote to full screen view.
