C REATING T ABLES The Insert Table command provides a grid for you to select the number of columns and rows you want in your table. You can also open the Insert Table dialog box to indicate the number of columns and rows you want in the table.
Use the following procedure to insert a table using the grid.
1. Select the Insert tab on the Ribbon. 2. Select the Table tool. 3. Use the grid to select the number of columns and rows. Release the mouse when the desired number of cells are highlighted to insert the table.
Use the following procedure to use the Insert Table dialog box.
1. Select the Insert tab on the Ribbon. 2. Select the Table tool. 3. Select Insert Table .
