Lesson 5 – Adding Objects to your Notebook

I NSERTING S CREEN C LIPPINGS You can use OneNote to take a picture of part of your screen and add it to your note just like any other picture. OneNote adds the date and time the screen clipping was taken for reference.

Use the following procedure to insert a screen clipping.

1. Select the Insert tab on the Ribbon. 2. Select the Screen Clipping tool.

OneNote minimizes and the screen dims.

3. Use the mouse to draw a box around the area you want to capture. The screen clipping is added to your current page with the date and time of the clipping.
