1. Position the insertion point where you want the table of contents to appear. The insertion point is placed in the desired location.
Press [Ctrl+Home] , if necessary
2. Select the References tab. The References tab appears

3. In the Table of Contents group, select the Table of Contents button. The Table of Contents gallery opens.

4. Select Custom Table of Contents . The Table of Contents dialog box opens.
