Lesson 10 – Using Bookmark

NOTE To create a bookmark for cross-referencing, or creating a range of pages for an index entry, first select the text or object.

P ROCEDURES 1. Select the item to which you want to add a bookmark.

2. Select the Insert tab

in the Links group.

4. Type the desired bookmark name.

1. Select the item to which you want to bookmark. The text is highlighted as you drag.

2. Release the mouse button. The text is selected.

3. Select the Insert tab on the Ribbon . The Insert tab appears. 4. Select the Bookmark button in the Links group. The Bookmark dialog box opens with the insertion point in the Bookmark name field. 5. Type the desired bookmark name. The text is entered in the Bookmark name field.
