Lesson 10 – Using Bookmark

2. Select Options .

Click Options

The Word Options dialog box opens.

3. Select Advanced .

Click Advanced

The Advanced options appear on the right-hand side of the dialog box.

4. Under Show document content , select the Show bookmarks option. The Show Bookmarks option is selected.

5. Select OK .

Click

The Word Options dialog box closes and the bookmarks appear in the document.

Scroll as necessary to view the bookmarks on pages 3, 4, and 5.

Open the Word Options dialog box again and deselect the Show Bookmarks option.

One reason to create bookmarks is to mark specific locations in a document so you can go back to those locations later. Use a bookmark to quickly move to bookmarked text or a bookmarked location.

Sort bookmarks in the Bookmark dialog box by name or by location in the document.

NOTE Use the Go To tab in the Find and Replace dialog box to go to a bookmark. On the Go To tab, select Bookmark in the Go to what list box. Then, select the desired bookmark from the Enter bookmark name list. To open the Find and Replace dialog box, click the Find button in the Editing group on the Home tab and select the Go To page. Alternatively, if page numbers appear on the status bar, click the page number area to open the dialog box at the Go To page.
