Practice the Concept: With the comment still open, click in the comment to make it active and the Resolve and Reopen buttons are active. Click Reopen . Notice that the comment is active again.

By default, Word shows only comments and formatting changes in balloons. Change this setting to also include revisions in balloons or not to use balloons and show all revisions directly in the text.

Enable Balloon options

NOTE Change Balloon options by clicking the lower part of the Track Changes button and selecting Change Tracking Options from the menu that appears.
