Add a 3-D effect
NOTE Use the Shadow Effects button in the Shadow Effects group to add a shadow effect to an object. An object can have either a shadow or a 3-D effect, but not both. You cannot assign a line color to a filled, 3-D object, but you can change the fill color.
P ROCEDURES
1. Switch to Print Layout view. 2. Select the object to which you want to add a 3-D effect. 3. Select the Drawing Tools Format tab.
4. Click the 3-D Effects button
in the 3-D Effects group.
5. Select the desired 3-D style.

If necessary, switch to Print Layout view, and display the rectangle at the bottom of the document.
