R EMOVING S UBTOTALS FROM A L IST  D ISCUSSION You can remove the subtotals from a list when you no longer need the results. Removing the subtotals also removes the outlining and grand total information.



P ROCEDURES

1. Select a cell in the list containing the subtotals you want to remove. 2. Select the Data tab on the Ribbon .

Display the Employees worksheet, if necessary.

Practice Data

1. Select a cell in the list containing the subtotals you want to remove. The cell is selected.

Click cell A6

2. Select the Data tab on the Ribbon . The Data tab is displayed.

Click Data

3. Select the Subtotal button in the Outline group. The Subtotal dialog box opens.

Click

4. Select the Remove All button.

Click

The Subtotal dialog box closes and the subtotals and outlining are removed from the list.

Close OUTLINE.XLSX.
