Notice that the Our Strengths slide appears next, followed by the Growing Sales slide, and then PowerPoint resumes the regular slide show. End the slide show.

Practice the Concept: Start the slide show from slide 3. Point to the Needs hyperlink to view the Marketing department ScreenTip. Click the Needs hyperlink. Notice that the slide show ends after playing the Marketing custom show. End the slide show. U SING AN A CTION  D ISCUSSION You can create an Action from any object (including text, drawings, charts, shapes, tables, and pictures).

Actions can be launched by either a Mouse Click on the object or a Mouse Over . Mouse Over is the action of moving the mouse over an object without clicking it. Actions include hyperlinks to any slide in the presentation, to another presentation, a web page, as well as running any program.
