While you can customize each of the subordinate Master Layouts, PowerPoint gives you the ability to add your own custom layouts to the Master set. An example might be that you occasionally need to devote almost an entire slide to four images that are aligned perfectly and consistently on the slide layout, and still have your logo on the slide.

When you add a new custom layout to the Slide Master set, that new layout will appear in your choice of layouts outside the Slide Master view.

P ROCEDURES

1. Select any Master layout in the Slide Master set.

2. Right-click and select Insert Layout

from the shortcut

menu.
