3. Add the desired tables to the query. The corresponding field list is added to the query. 4. Close the Show Table dialog box. The Show Table dialog box closes. 5. Add the first desired field to the design grid. The field appears in the design grid. 6. Add additional fields to the query as desired. The fields appear in the design grid.

Double-click Packing Slip

Double-click the Ord Num field in the Packing Slip field list Add the following fields to the query: Ord Date , Prod ID , Qty , Unit Price , and Ord Tot . Scroll as necessary and click in the Ord Date field Criteria row Type between 1/1/2012 and 12/31/2012

7. Select the desired Criteria row. The insertion point appears in the corresponding Criteria row.

8. Type the desired criteria.

The criteria appear in the Criteria row.

9. Select the Make Table button. The Make Table dialog box opens, with the insertion point in the Table Name field . 10. Type the desired table name in the Table Name field. The text appears in the Table Name field .

Type CurrentSlip

11. Select OK .

The Make Table dialog box closes .

12. Run the query.

A Microsoft Office Access warning box advises you that you cannot undo your changes.

13. Select Yes .

Click

The Microsoft Office Access warning box closes, and Access runs the make- table query, pasting the selected records into the new CurrentSlip table.
