The next page of the Find Duplicates Query Wizard appears.

6. Add the desired fields to the Duplicate-value fields list.

Double-click Store Name

The field appears in the Duplicate- value fields list.

7. Select Next .

The next page of the Find Duplicates Query Wizard appears.

8. Add the desired fields to the Additional query fields list.

Add the following fields to the query: Customer Number , Contact Name , and Phone Number .

The fields appear in the Additional query fields list.

9. Select Next .

Click

The next page of the Find Duplicates Query Wizard appears, with the text in the What do you want to name your query? box selected.

10. Type the desired query name.

Type Duplicate Customers

The text appears in the What do you want to name your query? box .

11. Select Finish .

Click

The Find Duplicates Query Wizard closes, the query runs, and the recordset appears in Datasheet view .

Notice that four records appear in the recordset; there are two duplicate records in the Customers table. Then, close Datasheet view.

U SING THE F IND U NMATCHED Q UERY W IZARD

Discussion

The Find Unmatched Query Wizard helps you manage data in related tables. This wizard finds orphan records, meaning the orphans have no corresponding records in the related table. Suppose you have deleted the inactive customers records from a Customers table. Two years later, one of those customers places an order, which is entered into the Orders table. Because the Customers and Orders tables are related,
