Practice Data

1. Select the External Data tab on the Ribbon . The External Data tab appears. 2. In the Import & Link group, select the New Data Source button. A drop-down list appears. 3. From the drop-down list select From File . A list of file options appear. 4. From the file options list, select Text File . The Get External Data – Text File dialog box appears. 6. Select the drive where the source data is stored. A list of available folders appears. 7. Open the folder where the source data is stored. A list of available folders and files appears. 8. Select the file containing the source data. The file is selected. The Get External Data - dialog box closes, and the Import Text Wizard dialog box opens. 10. Select the appropriate data format. The data format is selected. 5. Select the Browse button. A list of available drives appears. 9. Select OK .
