Lesson 8 – Using Controls and Layouts

U SING A S TACKED L AYOUT



Discussion

In stacked layouts, controls are arranged vertically, with the label to the left of each control.

Access automatically creates stacked layouts when you create a new form by using the Form button, the Blank form button, or the FormWizard button in the Forms group on the Create tab.

NOTE Stacked layouts are always contained within a single form section.



Procedures

1. Open the desired form or report in design view. 2. Click the desired control. 3. Hold down the [Shift] key and select the other controls you want to add to the layout.
