Lesson 11 – Using Advanced Form Design

Step-by-Step

Add a logic control to a form.

If you have not been using the Order Entry form, open the Order Entry 4 form in Design view.

If necessary, display the ruler.

Steps

1. Click the desired logic control tool in the Controls group on the Design tab.

Click

The mouse pointer changes into a copy of the tool with a plus sign (+) when positioned over the form.

2. Click in the form where you want the logic control to appear. The logic control appears on the form. 3. Press [F4] to display the Property Sheet . The Property Sheet for the selected logic control opens.

Click in the form just below the Shipping Method text box

Press [F4] , if necessary

4. Select the Data tab.

Click the Data tab

The Data page appears with the insertion point in the Control Source property and an arrow to the right of the property.

5. Select the Control Source list. A list of field names appears.

Click Control Source

6. Select the Yes/No field you want bound to the logic control. The desired Yes/No field is selected. 7. Press [F4] to close the Property Sheet . The Property Sheet closes.

Scroll as necessary and click Catalog

Press [F4]

8. Select the label box of the logic control.

Click the Check xx label box

Sizing handles appear around the label box.
