Create a custom input mask.
Open the Items table in Design view.

1. Select the field to which you want to apply a custom input mask. The field is selected. 2. Select the General tab in the Field Properties pane, if necessary. The General tab appears.

3. Select the Input Mask box.

The Build button appears to the right of the Input Mask box.

The Customize Input Mask Wizard dialog box opens.
6. Select the New button. A blank form appears.

7. Type the desired description for the custom input mask. The text appears in the Description box.
