Save the query and switch back to Design view.
F ORMATTING A C ALCULATED F IELD
Discussion
Once you have created a calculated field, you can change its properties as you would any other field on the design grid. The Format property determines how data appears in Datasheet view. For example, you can change the properties of a calculated field so that the field values display as currency.
NOTE Change the format of a calculated field by right-clicking anywhere in it and selecting Properties .
Procedures
1. Open the desired query in Design view. 2. Select the calculated field you want to format.
3. Select the Property Sheet button on the Design tab. 4. Select the General page in the Field Properties box in the Property Sheet pane.
5. Select the Format box. 6. Select the Format list. 7. Select the desired format.
