The next page of the Chart Wizard appears and the fields are automatically inserted into the Chart preview. 11. Arrange the contents of the chart, if necessary. The next page of the Chart Wizard appears with the text in the What title would you like for your chart? box selected.

12. Type a title for the chart.

Type Sales by Rep

The title appears in the What title would you like for your chart? box.

13. Select whether to display a legend on the chart. The appropriate option is selected.

Click Yes, display a legend. , if necessary

14. Select Finish .

Click

The Chart Wizard closes and the chart appears on the form.

Close the form and save it as Sales by Rep Chart .

Discussion

Access considers a chart to be an unbound object, meaning that you can manipulate the chart as you would any other object. For example, add a chart to a form or report to improve its usefulness and appearance.

NOTE A chart appears differently in Design view, due to the fact that the actual data is not displayed.
