2. Click the Rules button on the Home tab. The Rules menu opens. 3. From the drop-down list, click Create Rule . The Create Rule dialog box opens with the From and Subject contains fields completed.

Click Create Rule…

4. Select a condition for the rule. The condition is selected.

Click

5. Continue selecting conditions as desired. The conditions are selected.

Do the following:

Select Subject Contains .

Change the field to read SkiToggs .

6. Select the actions for the rule. The action is selected.

Click Display in the New Item Alert window

7. Select OK .

Click

The rule is created and a Success dialog box opens asking if the rule should be run on messages already in the current folder.

8. Select OK .

Click

The Success dialog box and the Create Rule dialog box close.

Exchange messages with your partner with the subject SkiToggs sales meeting . You may need to wait but eventually the New Item Alerts window appears displaying the information about the SkiToggs sales meeting message. Close the New Item Alerts window. D ELETING A R ULE  D ISCUSSION Delete rules you no longer use or that no longer apply to your messages. Outlook prompts you to verify a deletion before the rule is deleted.
