1. Double-click the task for which you want to enter a start or finish date. The Task Information dialog box opens.

Double-click the 11 Dig Foundation task.

2. Select the General tab.

Click the General tab, if necessary. Drag to select the date in the Start box.

The General page appears.

3. Drag to select the date in the Start or Finish box under Dates . The date is selected. 4. Enter the desired start or finish date. The desired date appears in the Start or Finish box. The Task Information dialog box closes and, if the Planning Wizard is enabled, the Planning Wizard dialog box opens. If the Planning Wizard is not enabled, the Gantt chart changes according to the start or end date entered and the appropriate 5. Select OK .

6. Select the desired option in the Planning Wizard dialog box. The desired option is selected.

Click the option to keep the constraint so that the task starts no earlier than 8/8/18 .

Point to the constraint indicator and view the ScreenTip. Notice that the task has a Start No Earlier Than constraint.
