Discussion
When you split a window, Microsoft Project provides default views in both panes. Change the view in either pane without affecting the other. This option allows you to adjust the views to display only the information you need. An active pane indicator on the left border of each pane identifies the view in that pane. The pane in which you are currently working displays a highlighted active pane indicator. The indicator is dimmed for the inactive pane.
The Calendar view and the Network Diagram view are the only views that cannot appear in the bottom pane. If you select the bottom pane and try to change it to this view, a message box appears stating that you cannot perform this action.
