1. Double-click the task to which you want to apply a constraint. The Task Information dialog box opens.
Double-click the 7 Select Subcontractors task.
2. Select the Advanced tab.
Click the

The Advanced page appears.
3. Select the Constraint type list. A list of constraint types appears.
Click Constraint type .
4. Select the desired constraint type.
Click Start No Earlier Than.
The desired constraint type is selected.
5. Select the text in the Constraint date box. The text in the Constraint date box is selected.
Press [Tab].
6. Type the desired date.
Type 7/25/18.
The desired date appears in the Constraint date box.
7. Select OK .

The Task Information dialog box closes, the Gantt chart changes according to the applied constraint, and a constraint indicator appears to the left of the task in the Indicator column.
