L EVELING A R ESOURCE
Discussion
If multiple tasks are scheduled at the same time, resource overallocation can result. The resources can be spread out over a longer time or tasks can be delayed or split to lessen the demand for the resources. This process is called resource leveling, which is one way to resolve resource conflicts.
In most resource views, overallocated resources appear in red. In resource views with an indicator column, an indicator appears to let you know that a resource is overallocated and should be leveled. The indicator appears in the Indicators column and looks like a red person .
