Lesson – Adjusting Resources



Procedures

1. Switch to the Resource Allocation or Resource Usage view.

2. Select the task associated with the leveling action you want to remove, if

applicable.

3. Select the Resource ribbon.

4. Select the Clear Leveling button.



Clear leveling.

If necessary, switch to the Resource Allocation view and view the tasks for the 1 Laborer resources.

1. Select the task associated with the leveling action you want to remove. The task is selected.

Click the 21 Install Windows task in the bottom pane.

2. Select the Resource tab.

The Resource ribbon appears.

3. Select the Clear Leveling button. The Resource Leveling dialog box appears. 4. In the Clear Leveling dialog box choose Selected tasks. Selected tasks is selected.

Choose Selected Tasks.

5. Confirm the change. The dialog box closes.

Notice that the 1 Laborer resource appears in red again, indicating that it is overallocated, and the leveling delay amount for the 21 Install Windows task changed back to 0 .
