TOPIC B: M ODIFY L IST I TEMS Although some of the data stored in SharePoint lists doesn't change very often, much of the data stored, such as contact information or calendar events, may need to be updated frequently. In this topic you will modify items in SharePoint lists. L IST AND L IST I TEM M ODIFICATION O PTIONS SharePoint lists and list items can be modified in much the same way you can modify any database or spreadsheet. Users who are members of the site, or who have the contributor permission level or greater, can add and delete items from lists or edit items. When modifying list items and events, you will use the same forms used to add items. In the item properties you can update information text boxes, date fields, categories, and any information associated with the item or event, and then save those changes.
