4. To edit an entry in the entry bar, double-click in the field containing the entry. The Task Information box opens. 5. Select the text you want to edit in the entry bar. The text is selected.

Double-click the Task Name field for the Develop Plans task.

Double-click the word Plans in the entry bar.

Discussion

As with Project 2010, Project 2013 offers several scheduling enhancements to improve control over your schedule. These controls include Manual Scheduling, Inactive Tasks and Top-Down Summary task.

In the manual scheduling mode, tasks can be entered with or without durations, start dates, or end dates at any place in the project. Durations and dates are entered
