Discussion

A recurring task appears on the task list as a single task in bold type with the recurring task indicator to its left. Although it appears as a single task, a recurring task is actually made up of several subtasks. Each subtask represents one occurrence of the task and can be viewed or hidden as desired. The number of subtasks typically depends on the duration of the task, since subtasks can be scheduled for the entire length of a project. Each subtask has a constraint indicator to its left, illustrating that the task should start no earlier than the date for which it is scheduled.
