Assigning various resources to a task

NOTE

When a list of smart tag actions is available, Microsoft Project displays a green triangle in the upper left corner of the task and a yellow smart tag indicator to the left of the triangle. You can ignore the smart tag if the default solution achieves the desired result. The smart tag indicator will disappear after you perform another action.

Procedures

1. Switch to the Gantt Chart view. 2. Select the task to which you want to add another work resource.

3. Click the Assign Resources button on the Resource tab. 4. In the Assign Resources dialog box, select the work resource you want to assign to the selected task. 5. Select Assign . 6. Click the smart tag to view the rescheduling options. 7. Select the desired option.
