NOTE
A dotted line appears in the Gantt chart for the date set in the Current date box in the Project Information dialog box. If you deselect the Updating task status updates resource status option on the Calculation page of the Options dialog box, Microsoft Project will not enter values in the Actual Work field when you enter a percent complete or change the actual or remaining duration.
