Word provides several features to simplify the task of reviewing changes. By default, tracked changes appear in Simple Markup view. Change locations are identified by a red line in the margin.

Change the display to All Markup view, to see all suggested edits in the document.

If you change to No Markup , Word displays the document as it would appear if you accepted all changes.

Change the display to Original view. This shows the original text and formatting without the proposed changes.

It is also possible to accept or reject only changes made by one or more authors rather than all changes. If you display only changes made by selected authors, Word lets you accept or reject just the changes shown.

Quickly accept or reject all changes of a particular type, such as Formatting changes or Insertions and Deletions , by displaying only that type of change and accepting or rejecting just the changes shown.

NOTE Choose to display only certain types of changes by clicking the Show Markup button in the Tracking group on the Review tab and deselecting the types you do not wish to display. Choose to display only changes from selected reviewers by clicking the Show Markup button in the Tracking group on the Review tab, pointing to Reviewers in the menu that opens, and selecting or deselecting reviewers.
