When working on documents with other people, you often ask questions or make observations in comments. In previous versions of Word there was no easy way to reply to specific comments or check things off as complete.

Word 2016 provides the ability to both reply to comments and mark activities done.

Resolved comment

NOTE Resolve only works in Word 2016 .DOCX files. If you make a comment and someone opens it in a previous version of Word, Resolve is gray. If someone creates a Word document in a previous version of Word and you open it in Word 2016, the Resolve option will not work until you save the document as a Word 2016 version.
