Lesson 1 – Using Slide Show View
NOTE In Normal or Slide Sorter view, the Slide Show button
(on the Status bar) starts the slide show at the
selected slide. You can also run a slide show by selecting the Slide Show tab on the Ribbon - then click the From Beginning or From Current Slide button(s) in the Start Slide Show group. Useful keyboard shortcuts are: F5 function key – starts the slide show at the Beginning and Shift-F5 function key - starts the slide show at the Current Slide .
P ROCEDURES
1. Select the Slide Show button on the right side of the Status bar . 2. Click the left mouse button as needed to view each slide in the presentation.
S TEP - BY -S TEP From the Student Data directory, open WORLD14.PPTX . Run a slide show.
If necessary, display slide 1.

1. Select the Slide Show button at the right side of the status bar. The current slide is displayed in Slide Show view. 2. Click the left mouse button or press Enter, as needed to view each slide in the presentation. The next slide is displayed each time you click, and the slide show ends when you click after the last slide.
