Lesson 9 - Manipulating Form Controls in Design View
Access 2016
When you move objects, the appropriate area on the ruler is highlighted. The highlighted area indicates the control’s size and position.
NOTE The Ruler button acts as a toggle. If it is highlighted orange, then the ruler appears.
Procedures
1. Open the desired form or report in Design view.
2. On the Arrange tab in the Sizing & Ordering group, select Size & Space
.
3. From the drop-down list, select Ruler
.
Step-by-Step
From the Student Data directory, open CONTROL2.ACCDB . Hide the ruler.
If necessary, open the Customer form in Design view.
