1. Open the folder with the item you want to categorize. The folder content appears.
Click People .
2. Select a contact.
Select someone in the class.
The row is highlighted.
3. In the Categories column, click the box for the selected item. The current Default Category is applied to the item.

U SING I NSTANT S EARCH D ISCUSSION
Instant Search enables you to find items quickly within Outlook. The Instant Search pane is available in all areas of Outlook. Instant Search starts to display the results as you begin to type; the more characters you type the more it narrows down the results.

NOTE
You can still use the Search tools that were provided in previous versions of Outlook. The Find A Contact (now called Search People ) and Advanced Find features are still available. Outlook displays up to 10 of your most recent searches. They can be reused by clicking the to the right of the Instant Search box.
