9. Select Yes . 10. Press Enter . A pattern appears and then disappears indicating the pen is calibrated. NOTE: If a failure message appears, you must calibrate manually. 1. On the remote control, press Menu . 2. Select the Extended menu. 3. Press Enter . 4. Select Easy Interactive Function . 5. Press Enter . 6. Select Manual Calibration . 7. Press Enter . 8. Adjust the focus, if necessary 9. Select Yes . 10. Press Enter . A flashing green circle appears in the projection’s upper left corner. 11. Touch the circle center. The circle disappears, and another circle appears below the first. 12. Touch the second circle center. Repeat until all circles disappear. • Be sure to touch the circles center. • Do not block the signal between the pen and the receiver. • If you make a mistake, press Esc on the remote to go back to the previous circle. Hold Esc for two seconds to restart calibration. Manual Calibration NOTE: • Hold the pen perpendicular to the board and do not cover the black section near the pen tip. • Select a project item – Tap the icon with the pen tip. • Draw – Tap the surface and drag as needed. • Move pointer – Hover over the surface without touching. • Erase – Press the function button on the side. • Left-click – Tap the surface with the pen tip. • Double-click – Tap the surface twice. • Right-click – Press the side button or press and hold the pen on the surface. • Drag item – Tap the item and drag across the surface. • Move cursor – Hover over the surface without touching. Use the pen like a mouse in PC Interactive mode. Use the Pens Use the pen in Annotation mode or Whiteboard mode.
Whiteboard Toolbar
Tap an item on the toolbar to change to a different option.
Interactive Pens
Use one or both interactive pens to make annotations.
Turn on the Pen
Move the pen to turn it on.
The pen turns off automatically after 15 seconds of inactivity.
Calibrate Pen Calibrate the pen the first time you use the interactive features, before finger touch calibration, and when the pen tip and the content on the screen does not align because of the following:
• Geometry correction. • Adjust image size. • Using image shift. • Moving projector.
Automatic Calibration
1. On the remote control, press Menu . 2. Select the Extended menu. 3. Press Enter . 4. Select Easy Interactive Function . 5. Press Enter . 6. Select Auto Calibration . 7. Press Enter . The Auto Calibration screen appears. 8. Adjust the focus if needed.
Finger Touch
When the Touch Unit is installed with the projector, use your finger like an interactive pen.
