Discussion
You may have resources with varying rates for different tasks or that require increases or decreases in their rates at certain points. You can create resource rate tables to handle these varying resource rates for both work resources and material resources.
You can create up to five different cost rate tables containing up to 25 different sets of rates. In each table, you can enter initial rate information as well as enter rates to be effective on a certain date. You can also enter a percentage to represent an increase or decrease in the rate and Microsoft Project will calculate the new rate for you. Once you create the rate tables, you can assign the rates to different tasks. To vary the resource rate for all tasks by date, you need to enter the dates and rates in the default rate table, which is table A.
