Lesson 3 - Assigning Costs

Procedures

1. Switch to the Resource Sheet view.

2. Double-click the resource for which you want to create a resource rate table.

3. Select the Costs tab.

4. Select the B , C , D , or E tab to create a new rate table, if desired.

5. Select the Effective Date field, if applicable.

6. Enter the date for which the rates in the new rate table are effective, if

applicable.

7. Select the desired rate field.

8. Enter the desired value in the selected field.

9. Continue to enter values in the rate fields as desired.

Create a resource rate table.

If necessary, switch to the Resource Sheet view.

Practice Data

1. Double-click the resource for which you want to create a resource rate table. The Resource Information dialog box opens.

Scroll as necessary and double-click the 1 Laborer resource.

2. Select the Costs tab.

The Costs page appears.

3. Select the B , C , D , or E tab to create a new rate table, if desired.

The desired page appears with the Standard Rate field highlighted.

4. Select the desired rate field . The desired field is selected.

Click the Standard Rate field in the first row.
