Discussion

You can create different rate tables for both work and material resources. You can then assign the rate tables to the desired tasks. For example, if a plumber receives $30.00 per hour for the initial plumbing and $25.00 per hour for the final plumbing, you can assign different rate tables to the two tasks or edit the base table and assign a different rate for the date the plumber is scheduled to do the final plumbing. Resource rate tables give you flexibility in assigning rates and tracking costs.
