Lesson 5 – Exporting Outlines and Slides

NOTE You can also export outlines to Word. To export notes, handouts, or outlines, you must have Microsoft Word installed on your system. If you see a link code in the Word document instead of a picture of the slide, you will need to turn your field codes off to open the slide in PowerPoint. To do this, click the field code and press [Shift+F9] . You can also open a PowerPoint slide using the link in a Word document by right-clicking the field code or slide picture, pointing to Linked Slide Object and then clicking Open Link .

P ROCEDURES

1. Select the File tab

2. Select Export

3. Select Create Handouts

.

4. Click the Create Handouts Button . 5. Under Page layout in Microsoft Office Word , select the desired page layout. 6. Select the Paste link option, if desired. 7. Select the OK button .

S TEP - BY -S TEP From the Student Data directory, open WORLD23.PPTX . Export notes or handouts to Word.
