Lesson 5 – Exporting Outlines and Slides

NOTE .png or jpg formats are considered to be the best formats to use with PowerPoint because they are computable with most other file formats.



P ROCEDURES

1. Select the slide you want to save as a graphic.

2. Select the File tab

3. Select Save As . 4. Type the desired file name. 5. Select the Save as type list. 6. Select the desired file type.

7. Select the drive in which you want to save the graphic. 8. Open the folder in which you want to save the graphic.

9. Select the Save button . 10. Select Every Slide to export all the slides or Current Slide Only to export only the selected slide.



Switch to Slide Sorter view.

1. Select the slide you want to save as a graphic. The slide is selected.

Click slide 5, if necessary

2. Select the File tab.

The File menu opens.

3. Select Save As .

The Save As dialog box opens, with the text in the File name box selected.

4. Type the desired file name.

The text appears in the File name box.
