Lesson – Customizing Views

Display the Business Cards view.

Steps

Practice Data

1. Select the View tab.

Click

The View Ribbon is displayed.

2. Click the View Settings icon.

The View Settings dialog box opens.

Click

3. Select Other Settings .

Click

The Format View dialog box opens.

4. Select the Font button for the text you want to format. The Font dialog box opens.

Click Font... under Card headings

5. Select the desired font options.

Select Times New Roman in the Font list Select 10 in the Size list.

The desired font options are selected.

6. Select OK .

Click

The Font dialog box closes.

7. Select any other options as desired. The desired options are selected.

Click

Show empty

fields

8. Select OK .

Click

The Format View dialog box closes.

9. Select OK .

Click

The Customize View: dialog box closes and the formatting is applied to the view.

Reset the font for Card headings to Tahoma and 8 points. Deselect the Show empty fields option and then select OK to close all open dialog boxes.
