Discussion

If the default project calendar does not meet the needs of your project, create a new project calendar. To create a new project calendar, you need to create a base calendar to reflect working and nonworking time specific to your project. Then, you need to assign the new base calendar to your project using the Project Information dialog box.

If you need to use a new project calendar, you should do so before you enter project information.

NOTE

To see the non-working time on the Gantt Chart change the calendar assigned to non-working time. Double-click the timescale in the Gantt chart. Select the Non-Working Time tab and select the new project calendar.

Procedures

1. Select the Project ribbon.

2. Select the

button.

3. Select the Calendar list.

4. Select the calendar you want to assign to the project.
