VIEW TYPE

DESCRIPTION

Displays data in a spreadsheet, allowing users to navigate with arrow keys, select rows or columns, and is generally used for providing faster editing and customization of list data. Displays data in a calendar view and provides day, week, month, and other options typical to calendars. You must have at least one date field in your list to use this view. A Gantt Chart displays data in a graphical, tasks over time format used in many project management charts. This view is the default for the Tasks list, and is often used with other task lists. Creates an Access® database. The tables linked to SharePoint lists allow users to create forms and reports in Access based on the SharePoint list.

L IST V IEW S ETTINGS When you create or modify a view, you have to select the settings for that view, including the name of the view, the columns to include, their order, how items should be sorted and so forth. The following table describes the list view settings available in SharePoint.
