L IST G ROUPING O PTIONS SharePoint gives you the option to group list results as part of a list view to organize items in a more meaningful way, or allow for quicker navigation through large lists. You can group by a single column, or by a first column, and then by a second column to create subgroups beneath the first grouping. For example, in a contact list, you might group first by State or Province, and then by City.
